"Nichsafti" (craving) - Details from Biennale Exposition:

The project symbolizes the limits and boundaries of the relationships between shapes and different objects between themselves one to another and as a mirror image to the society.
The assemblage of elements that evolved, created for me a fascinating dialog between the different objects when shape meets shape.
The junction between the various entities sometimes gives us surprising results that can take time to register in our mind.
The project is constructed out of an assemblage between objects: sometimes as, individuals , sometimes in groups.
The project creates an interaction between the different shapes and allow the appearance of new elements
"My soul craved and even yearned" [Psalm 84, 4]

Technique:
The technique I used to create the objects was based on pure wheel work.
After the form object was ready, I splitted the object to pieces and connected it intuitively together in different ways. As so, a new object appears with special connections and ties which gave a new meaning to the object.
After biscuit firing the objects, I spray "angob"(a ceramic color) on the objects and fire again.
